LUNAR NEW YEAR FEAST | The Lunar New Year Feast is seeking donations for Gift Baskets
items. This year's basket themes are Baskets Of Love, Pacific Rim,
For Chocolate Lovers Only and Off to College. Items can include spa
and bath items, teas, chocolate cookie cookbooks, hot coca fixings,
chocolates, picture frames, photo albums, portable irons, ipods,
phone cards etc. Donations may be brought to the January 17th PA
meeting or dropped off in the PA room (271) with Peggy Harvey at
anytime from now till the end of January.
Also -- this year, seating for the Lunar New Year Feast is on a first-
come first serve basis, so please be sure to send in your ticket form

PA General Meeting, Tuesday, January 17, 2006 | 7:00 pm: Student Research Opportunities & Competitions (Intel). Mandarin and Korean simultaneous interpreting available.
Program: Research courses, projects and competitions open to Stuyvesant students. What are the benefits to the student? What is a student supposed to do if he/she is interested? Whom are they going to work with? What are the resources? Are there any pre-requisites? How much time is required? When? Weekends too? What is expected from parents? How involved should they be? Examples of projects completed.

6:30 pm: Meet & Greet (Hospitality with refreshments) outside Auditorium

Stuyvesant Student Calendar Photo Contest | Deadline: 12:01 AM, Monday, January 23, 2006
The Stuyvesant PA invites all Stuy students to submit their photographs. The photo should represent ‘A Slice of Life at Stuy’. Suggestions: First day of school, Halloween, holidays, Stuy events (Camp Stuy, SING, sports…). Twelve photographs will be selected to be printed in a July 2006-June 2007 desktop calendar presented in a CD case. The calendar will be used for Parents’ Association Fundraising. Winners will be invited to the Lunar Feast Fundraising Dinner on March 3, 2006. You will also receive a thank-you certificate from the PA for your winning submission to add to your portfolio.
